For the day that’s in it.

For the day that’s in it.

That is an actual piece of The Berlin Wall. It sits on my mantelpiece at home and reminds me that things can change and things do change. No matter what the politicians and media tell us, anybody who witnessed the wall being toppled will testify to the power of people.

Ordinary, everyday people like you and I toppled that wall. Not politicians, not armies, not rock stars…just ordinary humble folk who collectively said “Enough is enough!”

“The truth will set you free.” Jesus Christ said those words long before Jimi Hendrix. Not everybody knows that. The media doesn’t want you to know that either.

In Ireland at the moment there is a peaceful revolution taking place. We, the people, have endured six years of austerity measures. Big taxes on this and that and everything. Recently our government decided to privatise our water and charge us ridiculous prices for the pleasure of having water come from a tap.

But this time the people have had enough. One by one we started to get off our knees and rise up. Marches were organised. Social media was used to spread the word. I put my shoulder to the wheel by getting onto the local radio shows to spread the news to the non-internet folk. The country started to awaken, one by one.

Last Saturday, the largest, most peaceful march in the history of our country took place. 150,000 people pulled on their overcoats and went outside in God’s free rainfall and marched shoulder to shoulder in defiance of the latest tax. Some marched for anti-privatisation of our water and others marched simply because they had nothing left to give. The cuts had taken their toll on the people.

One placard I saw carried the slogan “The only thing left to cut…is our throats.”

PICT0549

The following day there was one newspaper in particular which caught my eye. It showed a cartoon scene of a riot taking place with the heading “Open revolt.” It caught my eye because the cartoon scene was an attempt by the newspaper to discredit the folks who marched the previous day. There was no violent scene to show, so they invented one. I bought the paper and kept it safe.

Fast forward to the following Friday (two days ago). In a last ditch attempt to give all who were opposed to extra water taxes and water meter installations a bad name, the daily newspaper had an actual photo of a riot on its front cover. In tiny print below, the caption mentioned that the photo was from Brussels. But IN LARGE PRINT was the headline “Water meter works cancelled” along with a story that people had started to get violent with the men installing water meters.

The mission of those two front pages was clear to me.; to discredit anybody who didn’t say ‘yes’ to the government’s water agenda. Lots of folk don’t read newspapers but lots of folk will catch a glimpse of the front pages on their way past newspaper stands. The subconscious will fill in the blanks. This is the oldest trick in the media book.

I called it! I had enough of this carry on. I called it on Friday on social media. On Saturday a few folks ran with my theory. One guy uploaded a video about it. Another did a breakdown of the front page to dumb it down for easy learning. They didn’t credit me in their work but it’s not the end of the world. The ego is the invention of the devil…(evil laugh).

Last night the video had gone viral. The other guy’s post had done the same. But I see this morning that his post was removed. “They” haven’t removed my photo because my photo and my theory belong to me. Just like the theories of the newspapers.

The cat is out of the bag. Just like 25 years ago when the first few ordinary, everyday folk made it to the other side….the tsunami of people and people power followed. I reckon this date is reserved by God for God’s people, and God’s gifts of freedom and His natural resources.

“The truth will set you free” – He wasn’t lying after all.

Power to the people! Walls will tumble again.

He who procrastinates…

He who procrastinates…

american-pie-movie-02

Procrastination. I’ll come clean…I had to look it up.

I have heard the term a few times before and I had an idea that it was a swanky word for time wasting. A quick look in the dictionary and, yes, that seems to be what it means.

There is another term I must check out sometime; Ad-hock. The spelling is probably wrong but that is how it sounds. I have heard it used once or twice in the past. I heard it again today on the radio. I think it means “a quick fix”. There is a certain radio host who must have learned all his English from a Jane Austin novel. He speaks like she writes (she wrote), if you know what I mean – Why use a small word when a big word will do? You know the sort. Still, without people like him we would probably be back to babbling if left to our own devices.

Incidentally, I believe the term babbling comes from a Bible story about a tower of babel.  The people of Babylon were building a tower to the heavens and, long story short, God didn’t like it and cursed them all with different languages so they couldn’t understand each other.

I guess something simple like “Pass me the cement, please.” would then come out like “Tobhair dom an straighil, le do thoil.” Before long the builders were like “huh?” Nobody understood each other.

The chances are that is just pure myth but there again, who knows?

Getting back to procrastination, it could also come under the same banner as hesitation. Years ago, at a disco, I was procrastinating about asking a certain girl to dance with me. The tunes played on and the time rolled by and yes, you guessed it, another lad got in before me. I can still hear my friend’s words when I confided my heartbreak to him. “Frankie,” he said as he patted my shoulder “he who hesitates, masturbates!”

So my advice to any procrastinators is – Go easy, too much can make you blind.

Myth?

Could you be more specific?

There was a Daily Prompt which asks me to write in the style of a blogger I admire.

I had a whole rousing blog post in my head before I sat down. Sadly it’s gone. If I get distracted I lose my train of thought.

My wife distracted me with some very important (totally unimportant) question or other with her beautiful voice….

I want to make a suggestion. I read lots of blogs saying that the world is corrupt, governments are corrupt, armies are corrupt, science is corrupt, media companies are corrupt, music industry is corrupt.

For a reader who hasn’t a clue what we’re talking about, please give them  a concrete example. Make them care. Some blogs do this already.

Today a workmate goes to me “I met a guy at a barbeque the other night. He was talking about all the conspiracies down through the years. They never put a man on the moon!”

” I have been telling you that for years.” I answered, in shock.

“Yes but he explained it better.”

“Thanks mate!”   The main thing is he knows now. I could hear the excitement in his voice. His awakening has begun.

The point is this; Perhaps you have a knack of explaining things.

Pick an event do some research then be specific! The newsreaders are very specific with the lies. Be specific with the truth.

I hear the term ‘Be the change’ a lot, in blogs. From what I see the main folks ‘being the change’ are the governments, the bankers, and the traditional media, and it’s not a change for the better.

Whether you knew it or not the Boston Marathon drama was smoke and firecrackers and amputee actors. I picked two videos from the numerous available on youtube. One is from an actual news channel (one of the few who try to keep the balance). The other is a movie maker who spotted actors he recognised and has now blown the proverbial whistle. His interview is a tale of bravery which I could never match.  We owe it to him to Be Specific!

This is our time, our window, our awakening. Grab a truth hammer and help to be the change.

The Daily Prompt asks to write like a blogger I admire. I admire most bloggers. I hope am writing in the style of most bloggers’ inner voice.

It’s just a suggestion.

Thank you for reading

Frankie.

ps…just as I am about to hit publish I get a sign!! (Thank you Holy Spirit.) My wife is watching a telly drama called Intelligence. A detective makes a reference to the Boston Bombers as being scumbags. Lol. The telly hypnosis machine is working hard these days.

Noah’s Ark

I have heard the name Noah a few times in the past week. Either because of the new movie or my blogger friend Cheryl whose grandchild carries this wonderful name.

Since 2007 strange things, sometimes divine, have been happening in my life.

There was an instance about four or five years ago when a thought popped into my head. At first I thought this “thought” was my own. But later that evening I realised it was planted.

I encourage any new readers to read two posts I wrote explaining planted thoughts by the Holy Spirit (angels etc to some).

https://truckerturningwrite.com/2014/03/22/sacred-heart/

https://truckerturningwrite.com/2014/03/16/clap-along-if-you-awoke-at-1111/

Anyway, during my working day I got this idea in my head that maybe Noah’s Ark was the Bible’s way of explaining an Alien vessel landing on earth, saving two of everything and setting them down after the flood. I even considered maybe it was a story about coming from a another planet to earth, if that makes sense.

It’s no harm to entertain thoughts and follow through with research, especially gut research. (I can feel people saying “Cuckoo”)

Later that day when I got home, I skipped dinner and went straight to the computer. I googled “Noah’s Ark Spaceship”. It turns out I wasn’t the first to come up with this theory. There was even a song based on this idea. But anyway, I was guided to something which was accompanied by a confirmation of the truth to me.

In the Bible it says the Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. It turns out that there is a mountain in Turkey called Mount Ararat. It looks like the shape of a decomposed boat at the top. And there were also photos of ancient stone anchors around the site.

Just then my wife calls to me that we have visitors. I switch the computer off and go to greet my in-laws. My wife’s nephew has arrived with his parents. He was two years old.

“Show Frankie your new toy,” goes my wife to the kid, Barney.

Barney holds up the toy in his hands. “Look Fwankie, look!” It was a toy Noah’s Ark. It turned out he only got it a couple of hours earlier.

As we all know there are websites on the internet whose purpose is false info and there are websites whose info is true and there are websites whose only mission is to cause confusion.

If this subject interests you check it out. Also check out the chariots found at the bottom of the Red Sea (maybe the parting by Moses actually happened.) I hope you are guided to the truth. The “important” truth.

For the record I believe Aliens exist, whether from here or another planet, whether good or evil. See the post called. https://truckerturningwrite.com/2014/04/01/it-had-lights/ But I also believe the devil exists. I will blog about that again, I hope.

These signs happen all the time. I am sure you are being guided too, whether you realise it or not.

I think this is enough for now.

Thank you for reading

Frankie.

ps…Barney’s new baby brother was Christened Noah, later that year.

Common sense.

Today’s WordPress prompt asks Which technology is now obsolete? I think Common Sense is obsolete.

It has been a week since my last post. The truth is I want to write something light hearted and carefree but I can’t.

I know what the problem is. It’s a combination of a few things.

There is a new war in the world. This time it’s in Ukraine. That is the far side of the world to a lot of english speaking countries. The mainstream media will spin the lies and give the “leaders” of the “western world” as much air time as they need to convince us that they are telling the truth.

It sickens me also that Barack Obama keeps saying stuff like “The world is angry with Russia, ” or “The people of Europe support us in this.”

I don’t know whether his speeches are written for him or he pens them himself. But I want whoever reads this post to know he doesn’t speak for me or anybody I have ever met. In fact I will go so far as to say that successive United States governments are looked upon with disgust, although this view will never appear on the news. War seems to be the only thing that interests them. War and power and gun factories and oil.

The man seems to think he is the mayor of the whole world. Hollywood and the media push this image also.

I can’t understand what makes a person forfeit their soul to follow orders given my a mere human who exalts himself at every opportunity. And it’s not just him. There are plenty of other leaders who export death to innocent countries who happen to have oil or something of value.

I don’t like posting something without trying to make a small difference. I was going to add a video of soldiers who have had enough of killing, telling their stories. I might do that again.

I decided on a topic which I feel is urgent. It’s a technology which is far from obsolete.

Everybody knows what a hologram is; it’s a 3D image of a person or thing. There is a technology which was tested out back in 2001. A missile shrouded by the image of a plane, perhaps? I feel that same technology will be used to spin another lie in the near future.

If tomorrow, you looked to the sky and saw a spaceship or  a meteor, how would you know it was real or a hologram? The documentary channels on telly are choca-blok with ufo’s and meteors. Does anybody wonder are we being prepared for another crazy hoax?

I never gave much thought to the hologram thing until a man called John Lear insisted that the planes on 9/11 were holograms. He is a highly decorated pilot who holds air speed records, has worked at every level including air traffic control. His dad invented the Lear jet among other things.

Nobody will answer for 9/11. I think we all agree they got away with murder. They seem to be above the law. But hopefully folks won’t be so easily fooled next time. Myself included.

Thank you for reading

Frankie.

Here is a short video. There are plenty more on youtube.

Truth hammer.

Truth hammer.

The WordPress prompt today asks if there is any trade I would like to learn.

I would like to learn how to snap my fingers like the hypnotist when he brings a person back. That would be so easy and less stressful for me. Sometimes I go through a frustrated patch where I feel like the only sober person in a bar. You know, where a guy mumbles gibberish and the only person who understands him is the guy swaying from side to side and nodding.

I hope that made sense. It was probably a poor choice of simile given that nobody enjoys beer more than me.

Although, I am a qualified motor mechanic, as most of my blog friends know, I am currently trucking. Not currently as in right now at this moment.

I am lucky in that I have one of those minds that suits finding problems and planning a solution. That is the most important thing to being a good mechanic. The ability to stop and think before you go racing ahead with the spanners and fixing the wrong thing.

I don’t know what mechanics are like in other countries but I have seen time and again in Ireland the mechanic who diagnoses the problem without having even looked at the vehicle. You know, the sort who talks like he “has seen it all before”.

So my simple message to anybody who has a problem with their car is trust the guy or gal who says nothing until he finds the problem.

This short video sums up what I feel like doing with my truth hammer. Sometimes grease just won’t work to make it slide through.

Sorry if I bruised your head. It’s for the best. 🙂

My grail.

My grail.

06

Did I say Tsegaye  Mekonnen? I meant Wilson Kipsang…ahem.

Still 5th place wasn’t bad in a tiny event like the London marathon. Unlike the glory which is attached to crossing the line in 50th position at the Inishowen half marathon! Yeah baby! How d’ya like those apples, Mekonnen!

I enjoyed my own race on Sunday. That’s a bad sign. Races aren’t there to be enjoyed, soldier!

It’s a couple of years since my last half marathon. I ran 86 mins back then. On Sunday I ran 95 mins. That may not seem like a big drop to a non-runner, but believe me it is. It’s a lot slower.

But…at least I am running daily again so things can only improve.

There was a WordPress prompt a couple of days ago asking about obsessions. I had something of an obsession for a while. It was to run a marathon in less than three hours.

The idea that I would be capable of running a sub three (that’s runner speak) had never entered my head until our local club coach suggested that I had the potential if I “played my cards right.”  I had just finished a 3hrs 15mins marathon when he made the suggestion.

Sometimes I wish he had never hinted at it at all. Because in my head it had become a prophecy rather than encouragement. I trained like a Kenyan all through 2011 for the Dublin marathon. On race day I pulled a small calf muscle at mile 6 and only bothered to finish the thing because I had been doing it for a neighbour’s charity. I hobbled around in 5hrs, I think.

The next attempt at a sub three came last October. It was an incredibly windy day and by mile 13 my goose was cooked. I knew that I was going to miss my target by about 3 mins. Three measly minutes. I didn’t have a plan B. I wanted a sub three. I had trained for sub three. But like an idiot, instead of setting a new goal mid-race, I just jogged around to finish in 3hrs 27mins. I threw away my chance to finish it in maybe 3hrs 3 mins. That was probably the silliest thing I have ever done. Months and months of training thrown away over three measly minutes.

Chasing my grail and failing didn’t destroy my love of running. Even those races which didn’t go to plan didn’t stop me from smiling as I crossed the finish line.

Have I given up on a sub three? No way. Having a goal keeps it interesting.

I feel I am so lucky being able to run at all. I do appreciate this gift.

A tough little ten miler over hills on Saturday, I might enter that and try for 70 mins.

I will let you know how it goes.

Thank you for reading

Frankie. (1533 in the pic, the good looking one)
